I started out on my own around 1995, my grandparents stopped breeding in the mid 80's, grandma passed in 1990, she was the heart and soul of von Lahrheim shorthairs, so nothing went on after that, they had their first litter in 1950. I have been breeding on my own for over 30 years, as of now (2025) I have 30 of my own champions,most I bred and some were dogs I purchased to add to my program. I am an AKC advanced breeder of merit. I show my own dogs too.

PLEASE NOTE!
We do not have a kennel, our dogs are raised with us, in our home. We do not allow people to come and inspect our home! This is a very dangerous thing! There are animal rights activists that pretend to be interested in dogs or puppies so they can get in our doors and cause trouble! I will NOT put my family and dogs at risk!
